When I met Dorrine Jones, I was very unsure of myself as a woman. I was an introvert, very shy and insecure and always in the background. We begin to talk and write across the miles (Alabama to Pennsylvania) and she would always share with me about getting into the presence of the Lord and prayer. She would encourage me about the things that she saw in me but I was far from seeing what she saw. As time passed, we grew close and I knew that God had sent her into my life. She invited me to travel with her on ministry trips that took me way out of my comfort zone, to the Virgin Islands, Trinidad, London, South Africa and various locations throughout the United States.

It was through this close interaction, that I began to discover me, I learned how to stand in adversity. Learned how to press in and pray, learned spiritual warfare, understood my uniqueness through reading materials and messages developed by Dorrine Jones. Although I was assisting her while she ministered, those messages were transforming my life. I also discovered my personality type through various written assignments and workshops. I had numerous opportunities to share about my home, marriage and children, which caused me to be more and more comfortable talking in front of others. As my insecurities dissipated, I was able to bring encouragement and liberty to others.
